Today Jeremy Corbyn and Andy Burnham stated that they would work closely together if either win the labour leadership.
This would be a mistake simply haven't they learn from from the brown-Blair saga with someone wanting the other job and the infighting that causes.
At the start really you want to take out people who stand against you, and only place people you trust at the top, not really thinking of who deserves it. This may seem wrong but at the start of the party leadership you don't want any butting heads at the top.
Also the vision of the party will be different for both candidates, even if their big ideas our the same the way on implementing the vision, that is the day to day running of the party may be hugely different and that can cause frustration in people that can cause huge problems in the month and/or years to come.
